The success enjoyed by The Seekers in the singles chart in 1965 resulted in the repackaging of their first Australian album Introducing The Seekers. It comprised mainly traditional folk songs, unlike the more mainstream pop singles written for them by Tom Springfield. (UK:16)

"To the people who do not know this group, they were primarily a traditional folk group."

"From late 1965 to about 1967 The Seekers were the hottest part of the folk-rock segment of the British Invasion on the strength of their hits."

"The common denominators are the nice harmonies, with Durham's perfect pitch voice soaring over and through them."

"This Australian quartet is amazingly versatile, with an inspired set of talents and range, which not only endures but becomes richer. Judith Durham's ethereal intonations grace numerous songs."
