Come The Day/Island Of Dreams/The Last Thing On My Mind/All Over The World/Red Rubber Ball/Well Well Well/Georgy Girl/Yesterday/I Wish You Could Be Here/Turn Turn Turn/Louisiana Man/California Dreamin’

Popular Australian pop-folk group The Seekers released this album under different titles. Originally released in Britain as Come The Day it was more aptly renamed Georgy Girl in the States after the top three hit single. (US:10 UK:3)

"They were primarily folk and traditional, and made great use of their contemporaries including Paul Simon, Tom Springfield, and many others. They are led by one of the world’s greatest voices - Judith Durham. When you hear the voice, you know immediately who it is, and listen, since her use of lyrics is easily understood, clear and melodic. It's hard to compare with anyone today, it's that good."

"Judith Durham is a great vocalist, and she is backed by accomplished musicians. The music is pleasant and uplifting, not at all like most of the screechy, percussive stuff you hear on the radio today."

"From 1965 to 1967 The Seekers were the hottest part of the folk-rock segment of the British Invasion on the strength of their many hits. The common denominators are the nice harmonies, with Durham's perfect pitch soaring over and through them."

"This Australian quartet is amazingly versatile, with an inspired set of talents which not only endures but becomes richer. Judith Durham's ethereal intonations grace numerous songs with a magic and purity that must be listened to with your heart, not just your ears."

"Judith's Durham's voice has the beauty and clarity of a silver bell rung on a quiet night at the South Pole."

"Many artists in the music industry proclaim a 'unique style' but few can actually support those claims. The Seekers do. The group combined the traditional sound of folk, with the more upbeat tempo of 60s pop, to create a musical style that is theirs alone. Their songs exhibit an extraordinary range; frequently robust, yet often tender, and occasionally sensual. Judith Durham is a consummate performer with the rare ability to combine the smoky, torch-like passion of a jazz singer, with the clarity and beauty of a folk balladeer."
