“Many of these singers came from operatic backgrounds, all were fully trained singers, several of them were Royal Academy of Music Gold Medal winners."
"George Mitchell was universally acknowledged as one of the best arrangers of the 20th century. The show was voted the best in the world in 1961, running for 21 years on TV and nearly 30 on the stage. This LP is a great reminder of a superb show."
"Only wish I could see some of their entertaining shows again."
"Such wonderful memories and great talent. This is real entertainment."
"This was the most popular family entertainment show on British television during the 1960s. It was popular because it was entertaining and of a very high quality. Talented musicians, dancers and the whole production team. People enjoyed it."
