Introducing The Beatles – THE BEATLES***

I Saw Her Standing There/Misery/Anna(Go To Him)/Chains/Boys/Love Me Do/PS I Love You/Baby Its You/Do You Want To Know A Secret/A Taste Of Honey/There's A Place/Twist & Shout. Later versions omitted Love Me Do/PS I Love You and substituted Please Please Me/Ask Me Why

Unlike the other US Beatles LPs, Introducing the Beatles was released by the small Vee-Jay company. It is based on the UK Please Please Me album minus two tracks as described above. It was re-released in 1965, less one track, by Capitol as The Early Beatles. (US:2)

"This remarkable album, sums up a lot of great memories from that bygone time in musical history when these four talented boys from England totally shook up the music world, and set off an international frenzy that would become the epidemic known as Beatlemania."

"A brilliant American début album that still holds a lot of great memories for so many people. Looking back, this is a milestone in the history of popular music."

"Introducing The Beatles holds the unique distinction of being the most counterfeited album of all time."
